Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical power distribution systems including panel boards transformers switchgear and circuiting for lighting receptacles and equipment.
- Create and maintain detailed electrical models and construction documents using Revit MEP.
- Perform load calculations short-circuit analysis and coordination studies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g. NEC NFPA IEEE).
- Collaborate with architects mechanical engineers and other project stakeholders during the design process.
- Review and mark up drawings submittals and shop drawings to ensure design intent and code compliance.
- Conduct field investigations and site surveys to assess existing electrical infrastructure.
- Support construction administration efforts including responding to RFIs and reviewing contractor submittals.
- Assist in developing specifications and electrical construction documents.
- Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants as needed.
