Job Description
We are looking for a contract executive to join our team in Risk Governance & Operational Risk. You will work closely with the Operational Risk and Investment Compliance teams to assess the key risks controls and processes in investment-linked product and third-party management activities. You will also collaborate with relevant stakeholders and provide guidance on operational risk and investment compliance matters.
The role is to assess the investment-linked fund and third party risk management activities.
1. Investment-linked Fund (ILP)
- Assess key risks and related controls for ILPs.
- Review ILP processes and recommend enhancements on the adequacy of the design of internal controls.
- Review ILP reporting and respective standard operating procedures and provide guidance to relevant stakeholders.
2. Third-party Management
- Assess third-party arrangements submitted by business units.
- Day-to-day coordination and follow-up with business units on third-party assessments.
Qualification
- Degree in Accounting Finance or Business or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in internal or external audit or operational risk.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations notices and guidelines will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and writing skills able to present to and engage with team / stakeholders.
- Team player with good interpersonal skill able to work independently as well.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Good organisational and time management skills
