Nottingham City Councils Greenspace and Natural Environment team is proud to manage our citys amazing greenspaces - from vibrant parks and peaceful nature reserves to the green corridors that connect our communities. As an award-winning team were passionate about shaping spaces that inspire support wellbeing and celebrate biodiversity.

Greenspace Delivery Manager

Were looking for a visionary and hands-on Greenspace Delivery Manager to lead the transformation development and commercial management of Nottinghams incredible parks and open spaces.
This is more than just a management role its a unique opportunity to lead some of the citys most loved and high-profile green assets including Victoria Embankment the Arboretum Highfields Park Colwick Country Park & Marina the Woodthorpe Park Plant Nursery & Retail Service and a diverse programme of capital improvement projects funded through external grants and Section 106 agreements.
What youll be doing
- Major Greenspace development programmes across the city
- Commercial operations at Colwick Country Park & Marina
- Plant Nursery production and retail serving 10 local authorities
- Community engagement and delivery of Green Flag standards
- Management of charitable trusts
- Leading a talented multi-disciplinary team of specialists and managers
Reporting to the Head of Greenspace & Natural Environment youll play a key role in shaping Nottinghams greenspaces leading strategic development driving commercial innovation building community connections and guiding a talented team of specialists.
