The Role: Mergon Blackburn are currently hiring Machine Operators.

Mergon UK Ltd Centurion Way Off Roman Road Blackburn BB1 2LD
Hours of Work:
Continental shifts; 2 weeks days/2 weeks nights working shift pattern 6am 6pm or 6pm 6am (5 days one week/2 days second week)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Blow and injection moulding machinery for production of plastic products.
Quality inspections of products.
Recording of accurate data of parts rejects and weights.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment adherence to health and safety regulations and practices.
To be successful in this role you will likely have:
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing industry an advantage not essential as full training will be given.
Familiarity with handheld PPE equipment.
Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Procedures and best practices.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as a team.
Good Housekeeping standards ensuring your workspace is left clean and tidy at handover point.
