Job Description

Description
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead a High-Performance Team: Guide and mentor a dedicated engineering team. Foster a culture of technical excellence accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Product Innovation: Lead the full product development lifecycle from concept to launch ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Youll manage multiple complex projects coordinating with cross-functional teams in marketing sales and global engineering.
  • Hands-On Technical Expertise: Stay actively involved in the technical details of new product design and development. Your deep hands-on knowledge will be critical for overcoming technical challenges providing guidance and ensuring the teams designs meet stringent performance and quality standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with marketing and business leaders to develop and execute technology roadmaps. Youll identify new market opportunities and ensure our product portfolio remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Project & Process Management: Ensure all NPD projects follow our standard gate model and agile methodologies. You will manage project risks monitor progress and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Customer & Market Focus: Champion customer value throughout the development process ensuring our products address real-world needs and deliver a superior user experience.

Education

  • A bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field) is required.

Experience

  • A seasoned engineering professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D or NPD with at least 2 years in a management or team leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with valve-related R&D or applications is a significant advantage. You should have a deep understanding of fluid power mechanical design and electromechanical systems.
  • A leader with a proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse technical team.
  • Familiarity with structured product development processes (gate model agile/scrum).
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions and cultures.
