As we continue to grow QuidelOrtho is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for our Rochester site. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory control managing efficient shipping and receiving processes and supporting operations within a cGMP environment. The Inventory Coordinator is also accountable for upholding quality standards ensuring compliance with company policies procedures and applicable regulations and adhering to all EHS guidelines. This position is located in Rochester NY.
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am to 3:30pm Saturdays as required Sundays once a month
The Responsibilities
Manage the shipping receiving storage and transfer of materials and Finished Goods.
Record and monitor inventory transactions across SAP and other systems to ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolve inventory issues coordinating with Materials and support teams as needed.
Maintain Finished Goods inventory including cycle counts reconciliations physical inventory and disposal of expired or damaged stock.
Schedule carrier pick-ups prepare shipping documentation and oversee pallet preparation trailer scheduling loading and movement.
Slit Verification process.
Stage and process Finished Goods shipments in compliance with approved procedures and cGMP standards.
Promote safe work environment and support process improvements related to safety compliance cost yield and productivity.
Ensure compliance with company policies quality standards FDA TUV EPA OSHA and other applicable regulations.
Adhere to the safety code of Conduct & EHS policies and attend all required EHS training.
Foster teamwork demonstrate strong communication skills and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required:
High School diploma GED required.
6 months experience in operations/manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in warehousing or logistics (minimum of 2 years).
Shows the ability to guide and support others by practicing servant leadership. Previous leadership experience is a plus.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience with SAP ERP or other product management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
Experience reviewing and providing feedback on SOPs and Batch Record revisions.
Demonstrated ability to support process improvements in operations warehousing or logistics.
Internal Partners:Incoming Inspection Material Handler QA Engineering Manufacturing and Facilities
External Partners:Suppliers Carrier and External Warehouse
The work environment characteristics are representative of a manufacturing laboratory or warehouse environment.
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; climb bend and stoop; and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift-up to 40lbs.
Work with raw materials/chemicals.
Overtime and shift work is required as necessary.
Periodic exposure to 0F temperature controlled cold box during product transfer.
The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education experience knowledge skills geography and abilities of the candidate in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $22.50 to $24.00 hourly.
