Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Estimator with a Master Electrician license and a strong background in Commercial Real Estate to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for leading the estimating efforts for large-scale commercial electrical projects providing accurate and competitive cost assessments and working closely with developers general contractors and project stakeholders to support successful project acquisition and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate estimates for electrical systems in commercial real estate projects including office buildings retail industrial mixed-use developments and more.
- Review and interpret architectural electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications to develop cost estimates.
- Evaluate labor material equipment and subcontractor costs based on current market conditions.
- Collaborate with project managers engineers procurement teams and clients during the preconstruction phase.
- Conduct site walks and assessments as needed to ensure accurate scope definition.
- Analyze historical data and current trends to continuously improve the accuracy of estimates.
- Prepare bid packages and responses to RFPs including value engineering proposals and cost-saving recommendations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors subcontractors and industry partners to ensure competitive pricing and up-to-date cost information.
- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to the development of estimating tools and best practices.
$80000 - $100000 a year
Salary range depicts base salary total compensation can reach to around 200k.
