The Continuous Improvement Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for developing implementing and sustaining a continuous improvement strategy throughout our manufacturing facility. This role will lead initiatives to optimize processes reduce waste improve efficiency and enhance overall quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with company goals. Lead mentor and coach employees at all levels on the principles and tools of continuous improvement.
Process Improvement: Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement waste reduction (Muda) and efficiency gains. Lead and facilitate Kaizen events value stream mapping and other problem-solving workshops.
Project Management: Manage and execute a portfolio of continuous improvement projects from conception to completion ensuring timely delivery and measurable results. Utilize project management tools to track progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Data Analysis: Use data-driven approaches to analyze processes identify root causes of problems and measure the impact of improvements. Utilize statistical tools (e.g. Six Sigma) to drive data-based decisions.
Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs on continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma 5S) to build internal capabilities and empower employees.
Culture & Communication: Champion a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. Effectively communicate project goals progress and results to all stakeholders.
Best Practices: Stay current with industrys best practices and emerging trends in continuous improvement and manufacturing technology.
Safety & Quality: Ensure all continuous improvement initiatives prioritize safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in engineering Operations Management or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
