SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Are you ready to be part of an exciting winter season at Spirit Mountain Recreation Area We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a Snowsports Rental and Ticket Attendant. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for delivering excellent guest service. As an Snowsports Rental and Ticket Attendant you will be responsible for ticket sales and providing exceptional service at our rental desk.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct ticket sales for ski operations using our point-of-sale system providing detailed information about facilities and services efficiently managing transactions and ensuring appropriate waiver completions.
  • Enforce safety waiver completion when purchasing all tickets even when guests are hesitant or it is busy.
  • Check in and out cash banks each day and conduct appropriate reconciliation with honesty and integrity.
  • Manage rental desk operations including the setup fitting and maintenance of ski and snowboard equipment.
  • Perform regular checks and adjustments on rental equipment to ensure it is in safe and optimal condition for guest use.
  • Guide guests through the rental process assisting with equipment selection sizing and fitting to ensure they have the best experience on the slopes.
  • Track and maintain records of equipment usage returns and any required maintenance or repairs.
  • Uphold a high standard of service cleanliness and safety in all areas of operation including the rental or ticketing desks and surrounding areas.
  • Assist and guide less experienced staff promoting a culture of safety efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Resolve guest inquiries and issues with professionalism courtesy and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Ensure proper sanitation and care of rental equipment adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during peak times.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong ability to interact with guests; customer service experience is highly desired.
  • Physical ability to engage in tasks requiring standing lifting or bending.
  • POS experience cash handling and counting experience.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Familiarity with ticket sales or rental operations is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to be on your feet lifting bending and stooping for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able lift to 25 pounds.
