Your future team:
You will join theCivil Sectionof the Project Management Department - a team of 12 engineers and project managers representing 7 nationalities working across Denmark and Poland.
We combine expertise in structural civil mechanical and electrical engineering with strong project management skills drivinglarge-scale projectsto expand and modernise our production lines.
What you will be doing:
We are looking for a Civil Mechanical Engineer to take theCivil Mechanicalrole and coordinatemechanical design and construction activitiesfor new investments and upgrades within the ROCKWOOL Group.
You will work closely with stakeholders and specialists from different countries to ensure the mechanical infrastructure meets our technical quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and executing engineering and construction work in your mechanical scope (utilities cooling water systems HVAC fire protection cranes lifting equipment etc.)
- Managing scope quality budget schedule certifications approvals and H&S compliance
- Gathering requirements from process equipment in cooperation with process engineers
- Supporting design consultants permitting and tender documentation
- Managing contractors and coordinating with other engineering disciplines on site
- Ensuring alignment with the overall project master plan
- Frequent travel within Poland and internationally (no travel restrictions required)
What you bring:
- Bachelors degree inMechanical Engineering(Environmental Engineering or similar preferred)
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Project Management - an advantage
- 4 yearsof relevant work experience ideally in large-scale industrial projects
- ExcellentEnglishskills (spoken & written) at a business level
- Experience working with multinational teams and stakeholders is an asset
- Familiarity withPrince2project methodology is preferred
- Driving licence
- Polish supervision certificate isnotrequired
