Brisbanes Leading Independent Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic glass-half-full handy person. This position is a casual position with days to suit both the business and your availability.

About You:

To be successful in this position you willhavethe following:

• Youve got the goods from general handyperson skills and are ready to get busy with the upkeep of our hotel!
• Previous experiencein a handyperson role (preferably in a hospitality environment)
• Excellent communication skills
• You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality.
• Youre self-motivated disciplined and enjoy resolving issues.
• Eager to learn and confident to ask questions.
• Basic Computer Skills are advantageous.

About the role:

Each day presents a new challenge so this is a great gig for someone with a desire to learn and grow with us.

• Identify and resolve maintenance defects completing tasks as part of a preventative maintenance program.
• Respondto a range of guest requests.
• Assist in maintaining all equipment investigating and completing jobs assigned in a timely and safe manner.
• Maintain a record of works completed.
• And a bit of painting if thats your specialty
