Precinmac is a leading supplier of mission-critical precision machined components used in the aerospace and defense semiconductor and automation equipment specialize in manufacturing uniquely designed high tolerance precision machined components and assemblies with a focus on continuous improvement on-time delivery and the highest possible quality and consistency.

We are looking for a full-time first shift custodian to keep us running at optimal speed!

• 45 hours per week Monday through Friday 5:30AM-3:00PM (5 hours OT!)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean building floors by sweeping mopping machine-scrubbing and vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service clean and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture restroom fixtures counter tops bathroom stalls toilets and urinals concessions etc.
• Clean windows glass partitions and mirrors.
• Dust furniture walls machines and equipment.
• Makes adjustments and minor repairs as instructed.
• Clean and restore building interiors damaged by normal wear & tear.
• Clean manufacturing equipment using solvents brushes rags and power cleaning equipment.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors
• Move heavy furniture equipment and supplies either manually or by using power equipment.
• Clear and dispose of trash and debris from grounds walkways/sidewalks and curbs.
• Clear snow from walkways and doors.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs and issues that may arise.
• Wash and maintain entrance and exit mats.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Set up arrange and remove decorations tables chairs ladders and prepare the facilities for events such as meetings and visits.

ABILITY TO:

• Work with over the counter and industrial strength cleaning chemicals; safely dispose of hazardous materials; operate manual and power equipment; perform physical labor; understand and carry out oral and written directions; maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Must be dedicated proactive and self-motivated to work in a high pace environment with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Methods of maintaining cleaning and preserving a variety of surfaces.
• Operate and maintain various custodial equipment (e.g. floor scrubbers vacuums Sump vacuum pressure washers ladders basic tools such as hammers screw drivers wrenches etc.)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High School Degree or GED.

Experience:

• Past custodial and light maintenance experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to perform physical activities such as but not limited to lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs. unassisted) bending standing climbing low to high heights jogging and walking. Must be able to work safely in an environment containing industrial processes oils solvents cleaning materials dust and noise.
• Safety toe shoes hearing and eye protection will be required while out in the shop environment.
• Company uniforms will be required to wear.
