What this job involves:

The Maintenance Technician role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of building systems through preventive maintenance repairs and inspections. This position directly contributes to JLLs commitment to delivering exceptional facility services by maintaining safe functional environments that support client operations and occupancy. As a key member of our facilities management team youll play a vital role in upholding the high standards that set JLL apart in creating transformative solutions for the real estate industry.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical electrical plumbing and other installed systems and equipment

Replace lighting and ballasts as needed and conduct regular facility inspections

Report on facility conditions that may affect client occupancy and operations

Follow all safety procedures maintain clean work areas and identify solutions for safety hazards

Update work order status in real-time using CMMS systems (WebTMA) and escalate issues promptly

Comply with policies for safe storage usage and disposal of hazardous materials

Maintain effective communication with team members and clients throughout all tasks

Required Qualifications:

2 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance

Experience with basic plumbing and basic electrical systems

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights up to 15 feet using ladders

Physical capability for frequent climbing bending lifting kneeling stooping and overhead work

Ability to work in adverse conditions including extreme temperatures

Completion of required safety training programs

Proficiency with CMMS systems for work order management

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills with proven ability to interact professionally with clients

Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities

Additional certifications in HVAC electrical or plumbing systems

Experience with facility management software beyond basic CMMS

Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
