Job Description

POSITION: Customer Service Rep

FULLTIME:10/06/2025- 10/05/2026
LOCATION: Pennington NJ
SCHEDULE:
Onsite 5 days a week
PAY RANGE: $21.00/HR paid weekly
(Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)

Were seeking Customer Service Representatives to join the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) this role youll support Financial Advisors and Client Associates with retirement account services including account opening maintenance troubleshooting and document review.

What Youll Do:

  • Assist clients with retirement account maintenance & new feature enrollment

  • Provide clear guidance and troubleshoot account issues

  • Navigate multiple systems while documenting calls in real-time

  • Deliver professional client-focused service in a high-volume environment

  • Resolve and de-escalate client issues with professionalism and poise

Training & Schedule:

  • Training: MonFri 9:00 AM 5:30 PM EST (on-site virtual setting)

  • Shifts after training: 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM 6:30 PM EST (MonFri)

    • Possible shifts: 8:305:00 9:005:30 9:306:00 10:006:30

Requirements:

  • 2 years of customer service experience (call center preferred)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Word & PowerPoint

  • Strong communication skills with excellent grammar

  • Ability to multitask between systems while keeping clients engaged

  • Experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation

  • Positive coachable and self-motivated attitude

  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Additional Notes:

  • Dress Code: Professional business casual (required for interview & work)

  • Cell Phone Policy: Restricted to designated areas/times (discussed by manager)

  • Attendance: Consistent and punctual attendance is critical; time off during training strongly discouraged

  • Must be able to work on-site in a virtual training setting (no personal items such as blankets allowed)

WORKING CONDITIONS:


  • May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
  • The ability to lift up to 30lbs
  • Use of computers and technology
