About the Project
Thiess Yilgarn Iron Ore Project is a Brownfields mining operation that includes the sites of Koolyanobbing Windarling and Parker Range.
Koolyanobbing is in the Shire of Yilgarn Western Australia 54 km north-northeast of the town of Southern Cross.
Thiess are currently seeking applications from experienced Dump Truck Operators to proudly represent our Production Mining Team. In this role you will:
- Operating machinery efficiently safely and competently to ensure maximum output
- Complying with Thiesss policies and procedures
- Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor
- Effectively positioning machinery to allow for efficient loading
- Setting and maintain high housekeeping standards
- Carrying out pre-start checks
About you
- Minimum of 2 years plus experience as a Dump Truck Operator in production mining operation
- Equivalent to or specific experience operating Komatsu 785 is essential
- Experience in a hard rock mining operation desirable
- Valid Australian Drivers License
- Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
