Description
We are searching for a School Coordinator someone to assist patients/families in maintaining a childs enrollment in school and provide support for school curriculum.
Think youve got what it takes
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required bachelors degree in education preferred.
- TSTC Texas Standard teaching certificate from Texas education Agency required
- 2 years working in a school setting or school system required.
- Special education experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develops lesson plans and provides developmentally appropriate educational services to patient
- Participates in departmental responsibilities and collaborates with school district.
- Provides educational support through 1:1 sessions or in the TCH school classroom
- Uses resources to create innovative lesson plans for students to learn in a hospital environment.
- Establishes and maintains school room and enrollment support.
- Oversees educational volunteers
- Coordinates school services for patient and families
