The Role
Were hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to support our U.S. subsidiary Origina Inc. the largest contributor to our global business. This role is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced high-impact legal function directly supporting commercial growth operational integrity and risk mitigation.
Youll be a key business partner advising on commercial contracts regulatory risk and corporate matters and helping build a global scalable legal operation.
As a trusted in-house legal partner youll:
- Draft review and negotiate complex commercial agreements (customer partner and vendor).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Procurement Finance and People teams to enable efficient risk-aware deal execution.
- Provide legal guidance on federal and state laws including employment law data privacy and sales practices.
- Support and enhance legal operations including contract lifecycle management and template optimization.
- Monitor and advise on relevant U.S. regulatory trends particularly in cybersecurity and financial services.
- Lead or contribute to internal legal training documentation updates (e.g. Legal Handbook) and process improvements.
- Supervise two paralegals (with a focus on the U.S.-based team member).
- Participate in regular in-person meetings at our Plano TX office under our hybrid working model.

Your Qualifications
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5 years experience ideally a mix of in-house legal and private practice with focus on commercial and corporate law.
- Experience advising high-growth tech or SaaS companies preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. contract law commercial negotiations and employment law.
- Experience working in or with regulated industries (e.g. finance insurance health) is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead legal trainings and build internal legal enablement resources.
