Position Summary
This is a hands-on temporary role supporting both thein-season haunted attraction build operation and strikeas well as a variety ofoff-season preparation and maintenance tasks. Work isfast-paced collaborative and physically demanding involving manual labor scenic construction custom fabrication and the safe use of power tools and specialized equipment. Hours areas neededand not guaranteed varying by project timelines throughout the year.

Manual Labor:Lift carry assemble and strike props scenic elements and event infrastructure.
Unique Build & Setup:Construct and install custom scenic features immersive environments and interactive experiences specific to the haunted attraction.
Power Tools & Equipment:Safely operate hand tools power tools and specialized equipment for fabrication and installation.
Following Directions:Carry out assigned tasks safely and efficiently under the direction of supervisors and event managers.
Fast-Paced Work:Execute tasks quickly and accurately under tight deadlines with evolving priorities.
Safety & Maintenance:Maintain a clean organized and hazard-free working environment.
Collaboration:Work closely with carpenters scenic artists operations staff and other crew members.
Equipment Maintenance & Inventory:
Clean inspect repair and track event equipment (e.g. tents tables AV furniture signage).
Organize storage areas for efficiency and safety.
Assist with loading/unloading and repositioning trailers as needed.
Site Preparation & Improvement:
Perform basic groundskeeping: mowing raking debris clearing and light landscaping.
Assist with small repairs and touch-up painting on fences gates stages and other infrastructure.
Help update and refine site maps layouts and storage plans.
General Labor & Logistics:
Move and set up equipment and furniture.
Clean and maintain event and work spaces.
Support logistics related to equipment transport storage and upkeep.
Reliability flexibility and a strong work ethic.
Must be 18 and over to apply
Comfort with physical labor working outdoors and varying weather conditions.
Willingness to learn and safely operate tools and equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
Previous event construction or haunted attraction experience is a plus (but not required).
Type:Temporary / As-needed with variable hours throughout the year.
Seasonal Shifts:Heavier during late summerfall (event setup run strike) and intermittent off-season tasks.
Schedule:Days weekends evenings and holidays may be required depending on project and event needs.
