Job Description
Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician - TEMP to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing visual and mechanical inspection of electronic components and PCB assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and support our contract manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of electronic components and assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards.
- Audit compliance with established processes and general workmanship standards.
- Participate in containment activities for non-conforming materials as per Corporate Work Instructions.
- Complete specific or general tasks as assigned by the QA Manager.
- Assist Quality Engineers in their assigned duties.
- Report labor activities accurately in the corporate data collection system.
- Perform receiving inspection tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards and electronic assembly processes.
- Experience in quality assurance or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
