Job Summary (List Format) OCI Cloud Services Architect
- Design and implement solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) ensuring alignment with cloud native architecture paradigms patterns and security methodologies.
- Develop maintain and document cloud reference models including diagrams and other design documentation.
- Lead the migration implementation and management of enterprise operating systems/applications in cloud environments.
- Architect and manage cloud networking components such as virtual networks VPNs subnets network security groups and load balancers.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of proposed changes and projects with a focus on IT security and controls.
- Ensure solutions comply with security and regulatory frameworks (e.g. NIST PCI CJIS FedRAMP).
- Utilize cloud native technologies such as containers serverless workloads functions and database-as-a-service.
- Apply scripting and build tools (e.g. Jenkins Github Terraform) to automate processes and support cloud operations.
- Manage and monitor enterprise cloud environments using tools like Fleet Application Management Puppet OCI Monitoring and Splunk.
- Communicate technical information effectively to customers and stakeholders both orally and in writing.
- Review and validate technical solutions for both technical soundness and fiscal responsibility.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and consistently meet specific deadlines.
- Hold relevant Oracle OCI certifications (Cloud Ops Architecture Security etc).
- Possess a college degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience and excellent presentation skills addressing customer business needs.
