Job Description
Job Title: IT Engineer Citrix Infrastructure Specialist
Visa Eligibility: USC GC GC-EAD TN
Location: Hybrid Vienna VA / Winchester VA / Pensacola FL / San Diego CA
Experience Level: 10 Years
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer specializing in Citrix infrastructure to research evaluate design implement and maintain enterprise-level system and product solutions. The ideal candidate will apply deep engineering principles to provide technical guidance support critical infrastructure projects and stay current with evolving IT technologies trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage Citrix virtual applications and desktop environments.
- Administer Citrix Studio Citrix Policies Citrix DaaS App Layering Machine Creation Services (MCS) FSLogix Profile Container and Application Masking.
- Manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp and XenDesktop) NetScaler StoreFront and Citrix Cloud platforms.
- Configure and maintain NetScaler networking policies load balancing and secure application delivery.
- Provide technical direction and engineering support for infrastructure projects.
- Research and evaluate new technologies trends and best practices to optimize IT solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex Citrix and networking issues providing expert recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Citrix DaaS and related Citrix technologies.
- Strong networking experience including Citrix NetScaler configuration and policies.
- Proven ability to design implement and maintain enterprise Citrix environments.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Citrix Certified Associate (CCA)
- Citrix Certified Associate Virtualization (CCA-V)
- Citrix Certified Associate App Delivery & Security (CCA-AppDS)
- Citrix Certified Professional (CCP)
- Citrix Certified Professional Virtualization (CCP-V)
- Citrix Certified Professional App Delivery & Security (CCP-AppDS)
- Citrix Certified Expert (CCE)
- Citrix Certified Expert Virtualization (CCE-V)
Role & Responsibilities Overview:
- Act as a specialist providing in-depth expertise in Citrix infrastructure and related technologies.
- Support design deployment and optimization of enterprise IT systems.
- Continuously research evaluate and apply emerging technologies to enhance IT service delivery.
