About the Position Position: Sterile Processing Tech Shift: 5x8s 3p-11:30a Weekend REQ: Rotating Weekends Call REQ: No Will clinician float to meet facility needs (Y/N): No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years First-timers accepted: No Trauma Experience Level Req: Level 1 Experience required:- Sterilization Decontaminate and assembly/wrap SPT experience Scope Reprocessing Types of cases (experience) preferred: Neuro GU robotics ENT ortho Transplant GYN National Certs REQ: CBSPD and/or HSPA BLS REQ: not required Miscellaneous Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted rate RTO Restrictions: ALL RTO must be provided at time of submission. No RTO will be approved after contract is signed. Approval based on dept needs Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Level Trauma: Level III Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 286 Scrub Color: Provided by Facility Charting: Epic Parking Cost: No Cost Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
