About the Position Position: Sterile Processing Tech Shift: 5x8s 3p-11:30a Weekend REQ: Rotating Weekends Call REQ: No Will clinician float to meet facility needs (Y/N): No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years First-timers accepted: No Trauma Experience Level Req: Level 1 Experience required:- Sterilization Decontaminate and assembly/wrap SPT experience Scope Reprocessing Types of cases (experience) preferred: Neuro GU robotics ENT ortho Transplant GYN National Certs REQ: CBSPD and/or HSPA BLS REQ: not required Miscellaneous Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: Yes on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted rate RTO Restrictions: ALL RTO must be provided at time of submission. No RTO will be approved after contract is signed. Approval based on dept needs Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
