Job Description

Job title: Laboratory Technician I

Duration: 12 Months

Manufacturing Laboratory Technician I

Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Laboratory Technician I you will support the production of chemical and biological reagents in a regulated laboratory environment. This role requires adherence to cGMP and GDP standards accurate documentation and collaboration with scientific and technical teams to ensure product quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute manufacturing instructions for chemical and biological reagents.
  • Record audit and maintain accurate documentation (e.g. batch records logbooks).
  • Analyze data and compare results against predetermined requirements.
  • Perform calibration maintenance and routine checks on lab equipment (e.g. pH meters conductivity meters).
  • Carry out general lab duties such as restocking sanitizing and maintaining workstations.
  • Use SAP software for production transactions and inventory management.
  • Adhere to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices) standards.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and FDA requirements.
  • Work with hazardous materials and DEA-controlled substances following all safety and compliance procedures.
  • Develop technical skills under the guidance of biochemists and management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associates degree in a science-related field (biochemistry biology chemistry or similar).
  • Strong organization time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Physical requirements:
    • Ability to bend squat and lift up to 20 pounds independently.
    • Ability to push/pull large tanks with assistance.
    • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel).
  • Must successfully pass a DEA background check.
