Job Description: Power BI Developer - Supply Chain Analytics
Latin America - Argentina or Brazil - not interested in onshore candidates or offshore.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our Supply Chain Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI with a strong understanding of supply chain processes and KPIs. You will work closely with business stakeholders data engineers and analysts to deliver insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to supply chain functions (e.g. inventory logistics procurement demand planning). Power apps security implementation performance tuning.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
Optimize data models using DAX and Power Query for performance and usability.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to identify key metrics and ensure accurate data representation.
Integrate data from multiple sources including manual sources data warehouses and cloud platforms.
Ensure data quality consistency and governance across all visualizations.
Provide training and support to business users on Power BI usage and self-service capabilities.
Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices recommending improvements where applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Supply Chain Management or related field.
5 7 years of experience in Power BI development with a focus on supply chain analytics.
Strong proficiency in DAX Power Query and data modeling.
Experience with row level security implementation in self-service and reporting solutions.
Experience with PBI performance tuning
Solid understanding of supply chain processes and KPIs.
Familiarity with SQL and cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure Synapse Snowflake).
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Microsoft certifications (e.g. DA-100 PL-300) are a plus.
- Snowflake experience is a nice to have but will need to be well versed in Azure Oracle SQL.
Additional Sills:
