ROLE DESCRIPTION
AGG is adding a Full Stack Engineer to drive the design and development of scalable multi-tier applications using Angular and Java. This role requires deep expertise in front-end and back-end engineering API development and data integration with MQ/Kafka alongside hands-on leadership in code quality and delivery. Candidates with strong financial services experience and AWS cloud knowledge will be especially well-suited.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design develop and maintain multi-tier distributed applications using Angular and Java technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features in a timely manner.
- Implement RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end and back-end systems.
- Utilize MQ/Kafka technology to develop and support data ingestion services.
- Participate in code reviews testing and deployment processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Other duties as directed by leadership.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- 10-12 years of experience developing multi-tier distributed applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and testing accessible and responsive UI applications using Angular NgRx and TypeScript.
- Expert-level knowledge of REST API development using Java Spring and Spring Boot technologies.
- Familiarity with financial messaging protocols like FIX and experience with AWS cloud technologies is required.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational database technologies (Ideally Oracle/Redis/Aerospike/Dynamo DB).
