Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is for an X-Ray Technician working in a short-term acute care hospital. The position requires weekend availability and a block schedule with shifts between 11:30 am and 10:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays and 12:30 pm and 11:00 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. No on-call responsibilities are required.
Location: Portland Oregon United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing X-ray procedures.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Potentially floating between units as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current certification as an X-Ray Technician.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Ability to work a block schedule.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience with various X-ray equipment.
Special Considerations:
- Weekend work is required.
- A block schedule is utilized.
- Shifts are between 11:30 am and 10:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays and 12:30 pm and 11:00 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- No on-call is required.
- The hospital is a 536-bed short-term acute care facility.
Scheduling:
- Weekend work is mandatory.
- Shifts are pre-determined block schedules.
- Saturday and Sunday shifts are 11:30 am to 10:00 pm.
- Monday and Tuesday shifts are 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
