What Youll Do
The Executive Director will lead strategic delivery and sales across financial and international banking clients with a strong emphasis on network and computer infrastructure. This role combines deep technical expertise with executive-level leadership to drive innovation operational excellence and global expansion. The core capabilities include:
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders aligning infrastructure capabilities with business goals.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for international banking operations ensuring compliance with global financial regulations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions that enhance customer success and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate Burwood resources from a sales and delivery perspective to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction.
Financial & Banking Expertise
- Oversee systems integration across international markets.
- Ensure robust risk management and compliance frameworks are in place for all banking operations.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to support international transactions currency management and cross-border banking relationships.
Infrastructure Oversight
- Direct the design implementation and maintenance of secure scalable network and computing infrastructure.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor KPIs related to infrastructure reliability performance and cost efficiency.
- Drive continual improvement initiatives across IT service management asset tracking and change management.
- Partner with internal teams to optimize hardware lifecycle inventory management and network security protocols.
Qualifications :
Who You Are
- Former VP SVP CIO CTO level experience in an international banking or financial institution
- 10 years of leadership experience in financial services or international banking.
- Proven track record managing enterprise IT infrastructure including cloud network and data center environments.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. PCI GDPR Basel III)
- Experience with global banking platforms and cross-border financial operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The Tech Stuff
- Responsibilities for revenue profit loss and decisions impacting the financial structure of Client engagements.
- Industry expertise utilizing technology to drive business objectives.
