Job Description
Job Title : IT Project Manager (Agile COTS Implementation Oracle/Liferay)
Location: New York NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing multiple projects across both public and private sectors ensuring successful on-time and within-scope delivery.
- Skilled in initiating and maintaining clear consistent communication with stakeholders development teams and executive leadership.
- Proficient in creating maintaining and organizing project documentation aligned with PMI PMBOK standards leveraging tools such as SharePoint JIRA and Microsoft Office 365.
- Experienced in applying PMI PMBOK-based project management methodology across all phases - initiating planning executing monitoring/controlling and closing - for projects involving third-party vendors internal/external stakeholders and cross-sector teams.
- Adept at managing software development initiatives using Agile Scrum methodology including task planning/tracking custom workflow creation QA coordination and UAT validation via JIRA or equivalent tools.
- Skilled in data analysis and business process re-engineering (BPR) to produce detailed specifications for complex multi-layer IT applications.
- Hands-on experience leading COTS software implementation custom application development (SDLC) legacy system migrations deployment planning and end-user training.
- Ability to translate business vision and project charters into detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for estimating and planning software development projects within Oracle Database environments using Liferay Portal Appbase Drupal or similar case/content management platforms.
