Job Description
Job Title: IT Developer C# / / AWS Developer
Location: Remote (occasional on-site in Washington DC. Local DC and surrounding areas preferred)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
- Develop web applications using C# MVC/Core Web API.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs using Core.
- Design responsive UI with Bootstrap HTML JavaScript jQuery and .
- Perform database design and advanced SQL development (stored procedures functions performance tuning).
- Automate development tasks with Bash PowerShell or Perl.
- Integrate CI/CD and deployment scripting; manage code via GitHub Enterprise.
- Maintain and optimize cloud-based environments preferably AWS.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
- Proficiency in C# MVC/Core and Web API.
- Strong experience in SQL Server (stored procedures performance tuning).
- Front-end UI development experience with HTML JavaScript jQuery and Bootstrap.
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash PowerShell or Perl).
- GitHub Enterprise for version control.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
- Certifications:
- AWS Certified Developer
- Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
- Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP)
- CompTIA Security
- GitHub Actions Certification
- Must be able to pass a background check including fingerprinting by U.S. Capitol Police.
- Remote work authorized but may be required to be on-site at Ford House Office Building DC
- Must commit to the full term of the contract including potential option years.
