About Us:Oakes Auto Group is a reputable automotive dealership dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality vehicles to our customers. We are seeking an experienced Automotive Accountant to join our team and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Job Overview:The Automotive Accountant will be responsible for analyzing costs maintaining cost accounting records generating invoices and managing vehicle title paperwork. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in title and billing strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Competitive compensation is offered based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Accounting:

  • Analyze costs associated with vehicle sales service and parts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain cost accounting records and reconcile accounts to ensure financial integrity.

Billing and Invoicing:

  • Generate invoices for vehicle sales service and parts transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Verify billing information including pricing discounts and taxes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

Title Processing:

  • Manage vehicle title paperwork and ensure compliance with state regulations and dealership policies.
  • Process title applications accurately and submit them to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.
  • Track the status of title transfers and resolve any issues or delays as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in title and billing.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
