The Medical Logistics Specialist will report directly to the Sr. Hospital Administrator and will manage the day-to-day operations of the supply chain warehouse and medical logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make deliveries and pickups to outside agencies and facilities as appropriate or as directed.
- Oversee and ensure the receipt inventory and distribution of medical supplies.
- Ensures the replenishment of high usage items is maintained through proper FIFO ROP and ROQ procedures set by medical department users and the Senior Hospital Administrator.
- Ensures that storerooms stores areas and containers are organized tidy and mapped out and that medical staff access is controlled.
- Maintains supply of medical grade oxygen and medical grade air including the return of empty cylinders.
- Updates and maintains the warehouse and hospital supply room Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) notice board with current information.
- Oversees the cleaning of the warehouse and hospital supply rooms.
- Performs other duties related to the position as assigned by the Senior Hospital Administrator.
- Completes required organizational compliance education including assigned requirements that are client-specified for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications :
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Experience in DMLSS (Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office to include Word Outlook and Excel.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply medical supply and warehouse management.
Education Required:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Associate degree in a related field such as business management or logistics management is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment and outdoors with exposure to environmental heat humidity sunshine rain and wind.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May require bending stooping and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely negotiate flights of stairs.

- Must be able to read write & speak English to effectively communicate
- This position is unaccompanied.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
- US DOD CNACI or the ability to obtain one is required.
- A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
