This is a remote position.
We are seeking an Epic Willow Inpatient Application Support Analyst to provide ongoing support for a live production environment. This role focuses on ensuring system stability addressing day-to-day issues and managing small-scale enhancements and projects within the Epic Willow module. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Epic Willow and the ability to collaborate with clinical pharmacy and IT stakeholders to deliver timely solutions.
Provide daily support for the Epic Willow Inpatient application in a live healthcare environment.
Monitor system performance troubleshoot incidents and resolve break/fix issues to minimize downtime.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as table updates configuration changes and user support.
Partner with end-users and pharmacy teams to gather requirements for small enhancement requests and implement approved changes.
Participate in small projects including minor upgrades workflow optimizations and feature rollouts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with other Epic modules (e.g. Beacon ClinDoc Resolute).
Maintain documentation of issues resolutions and system changes in accordance with IT governance standards.
Support system testing validation and change management activities.
Stay current with Epic updates patches and best practices for system stability and compliance.
Epic Willow certification (Inpatient and/or Ambulatory preferred).
2 years of experience providing application support in a live Epic Willow environment.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy workflows medication ordering and administration processes.
Experience with break/fix troubleshooting maintenance and enhancement builds.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical support setting.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with ITIL practices ticketing systems and healthcare IT compliance standards is a plus.
Experience with Epic Bridges or other integration tools.
Exposure to Epic upgrade cycles and regression testing.
Previous experience in a healthcare provider environment supporting clinicians pharmacists or IT operations.
