Pay Rate: $38.00 - $47.00/HR

Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00am 3:30pm - onsite w/ some flexibility if needed

Tekberry is looking for a Sr. CMM Programmer to work directly with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of a precision control components company.
Summary:
Our client in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Senior CMM Programmer to join them. You will report to the Site Quality Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in West Falls NY.
Responsibilities
- In this role you will be responsible for programming operating and maintaining Zeiss Calypso CMM systems to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Zeiss Calypso software excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and quality control procedures.
- Act as a technical lead of the site CMM programming group plan and manage team workload.
- Plan develop and proof CMM inspection programs for complex parts components and assemblies.
- Contribute to the development of a cost-effective inspection system.
- Devise strategies for system enhancements which assure long range integrity and cost effectiveness of the measurement system.
- Develop and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software; Program and operate Zeiss CMMs.
- Interpret engineering drawings specifications and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
- Perform precise dimensional inspections and analyze measurement data to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot CMM programs and resolve measurement issues to maintain smooth operational performance.
- Work closely with engineering manufacturing and quality teams to improve part quality and measurement processes.
- Maintain Zeiss CMM equipment and ensure proper calibration in accordance with manufacturers guidelines.
- Provide training to quality inspectors/quality personnel on CMM Operation.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of programming experience Zeiss CMM and Calypso software preferred.
- The ability to demonstrate above average knowledge of complex GD&T.
- In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.) employee enrollment & participation in the companys F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program is a requirement for this position.
Education:
- Associates Degree (or equivalent) in a technical field. May consider combination of education/experience in lieu of degree.
