Focused on all areas of technology services with a key focus on hardware operating systems and security. This role requires proficiency in all aspects of Technology from network infrastructure maintenance and deployment to user ticket resolutions and assistance to hotel employees while ensuring adherence to standards required by corporate policies.
- Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service
- Coordinate manage and ensure that all daily hotel user service technology tickets are dealt with on a timely and accurate basis including 3rd party SLA support
- Assist in the integration of hotel hardware and software technology
- Maintain compliance with technology standards and follow risk management practices following applicable policies and procedures outlined in the company standard Policies and Procedures
- Provide a high level of operational stability for property-based technology
- Maintain IT Systems disaster recovery and Daily Backup Logs
- Track and maintain all employee workstations laptops and peripherals ensuring compliance with the standard using the Accor imaging process with an emphasis on anticipating employee needs
- Maintain Daily Wi-Fi Log update - Maintain all Guest and Back of House Wi-Fi equipment in Public Areas Meeting Space and Guestrooms
- Review Anti-virus logs and resolve any enterprise issues
- Maintain inventory of all I/T equipment and peripherals network architecture and software
- Maintain IDF and MDFs as per ACCOR Standards
- Ensure a consistent PCI compliant environment and complete annual PCI compliance reporting
- Responsible for the I/T Budget Forecast Financial Reporting and checkbook management
- Source vendors for best price quality alignment with corporate specifications and process payment
- Oversee and manage mobile devices including company owned and BYOD integration
- Manage technical aspects of reader boards and In-room TV system. Coordinate service and replacements with functional champions and POMEC
- Oversee and manage the phone system
- Provide technical support for locally managed systems and corporate approved applications including but not limited to interfaces the PMS and collateral systems F&B systems (POS Mini Bars devices etc.) and financial management systems and devices
- Seek out and deploy technological initiatives to improve efficiency increase profit and drive guest satisfaction
- Develop the annual technology capital plan with Accor and local input based on needs assessment. Implement projects in accordance with the approved capital budget and outlined in a critical path
- Willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major and critical responsibilities and tasks including after-hours support
- Coordinate out of office coverage and maintain local functional champion support list
- Onsite Fairmont Dallas office space is primary workstation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications :
- University/College Degree or a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- 2 years progressive work-related experience in multiple areas of Technology and previous hotel experience is an asset
- A Certification
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer preferred
- Cisco certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Entry level Network Technician certification
- Entry level Microsoft certification
- Understanding of hotel operations
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with a strong sense of commitment
