Responsibilities
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for patients scheduled over the next three days
- Conduct confirmation calls to patients to ensure appointment attendance and reduce no-shows
- Handle personal assistant tasks including online research obtaining service quotes and managing time-consuming phone calls
- Process insurance verification and eligibility checking for dental patients
- Manage various administrative tasks to optimize the practice owner s time and productivity
- Support general dental practice operations and patient communication
- Handle phone inquiries and tasks that can be resolved without direct office staff involvement
- Assist with streamlining workflows across multiple practice locations
Requirements
- Previous experience in healthcare administration with dental practice experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with dental software programs and practice management systems
- HIPAA compliance training and thorough understanding of healthcare privacy requirements
- Excellent communication skills for professional patient interaction and phone-based duties
- Ability to work full-time during US business hours with flexibility and reliability
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage both personal and professional administrative tasks
- Experience with insurance verification processes and eligibility checking
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with leadership
- Comfortable handling diverse responsibilities ranging from patient care support to personal assistance tasks
