Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Act as a genuine second-in-command to the Financial Controller owning key financial processes.
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable including fortnightly debtor reports and customer follow-ups.
- Support the month-end close process: bank and inter-company reconciliations prepayments depreciation and balance sheet reviews.
- Assist with treasury and cash management including cash flow forecasts and liquidity optimization.
- Work with auditors tax advisors and other external stakeholders to ensure financial compliance.
- Mentor junior team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Requirements
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
5 10 years of accounting experience preferably in SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
Hands-on expertise with Xero and intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP Pivot Tables SUMIFS etc.).
Prior experience with Maxio or Chargebee is a major plus be sure to highlight this!
A strong grasp of accounting principles and proven ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations.
A methodical and tidy work style with strong attention to detail.
A self-starter mindset with comfort operating independently while knowing when to escalate.
Worked for big 4 accounting firms
