Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Media Technology Solutions Specialist with a strong focus on multimedia engineering to join our dynamic IT this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining multimedia systems and infrastructure that support high-quality audio video and streaming services across the organization.
Your main tasks are:
- Design deploy and maintain multimedia systems including AV hardware video conferencing platforms and digital signage.
- Integrate multimedia solutions with existing IT infrastructure (servers networks storage).
- Provide technical support for multimedia production live events and hybrid meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define multimedia requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to multimedia delivery and playback.
- Ensure compliance with IT security best practices and data protection regulations.
- Document system configurations workflows and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Media Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in IT systems engineering with a focus on multimedia technologies.
- Proficiency in AV systems (e.g. Crestron Extron) video conferencing tools (e.g. Zoom MS Teams) and media servers.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP multicast QoS) and storage systems for media content.
- Experience with scripting (e.g. PowerShell Python) for automation and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with professional audio video and lighting equipment including setup and control of microphone systems mixing consoles DMX fixtures camera and projection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Fluent in English and German
