Job Description

Program Manager Digital Transformation (Insurance)

Senior Program Manager opportunity in the insurance industry focused on transformational programs with multi-million-dollar budgets. Leverage your PMP certification and 15 years of program leadership to deliver strategic initiatives. Hybrid work model with on-site presence in Markham required.

What is in it for you:

Salaried: $85-90 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $90-95 per hour.
6-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid model 3 days per week on-site.

Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver large-scale transformational programs aligned with organizational goals.
Manage executive stakeholders and foster collaboration with internal and external teams.
Develop and manage integrated project plans including scope schedule budget and resources.
Provide clear communication and regular updates to stakeholders and partners.
Lead cross-functional teams ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Oversee financials including budgeting forecasting cost modeling and adjustments.
Identify and mitigate risks proactively to ensure successful delivery.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and governance expectations.
Manage project scope and change control in collaboration with business leads.
Maintain accurate documentation including plans status reports and artefacts.
Use analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex project challenges.
Coordinate with vendors and manage performance across program workstreams.
Support decision-making through data analysis and insight-driven recommendations.
Facilitate effective meetings workshops and stakeholder sessions.

What you will need to succeed:

Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
15 years of experience managing programs with large budgets ($20M).
Proven background in the insurance industry preferably in Commercial insurance.
Demonstrated experience leading transformational programs.
Strong leadership interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in stakeholder management conflict resolution and team coordination
Expertise in financial management under strict governance.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Advanced proficiency in MS Project Microsoft Office Suite Teams and SharePoint.
Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
Ability to influence decisions and negotiate based on data-driven insights.
Experience managing multiple projects within a program structure.
Must be willing and able to work extended hours when necessary to support project needs.
