Job Description
Senior Publican Northern Territory
As a Senior Publican you will be responsible for supporting and coaching Venue Managers within your portfolio to achieve sustainable business targets. You will be a change agent driving and embedding initiatives within venues as well as bringing your own fresh ideas to your team and the wider business.

A day in the life of a Senior Publican:
- Develop venue leaders in your portfolio of 6 venues to build capability in the business
- Lead venue teams to adopt a guest first approach to offer an authentic and local guest experience
- Educate and coach venues on the business strategy empowering them to take initiative and contribute to the delivery of the strategy in their venue.
- Lead venue teams to take accountability for the financial performance of their venues maximising sales and profitability and taking action for improved results
- Actively demonstrate safety leadership ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are understood and adhered to by teams.
- Ensure venues fully comply with all statutory legislation accreditations and workplace policies such as liquor licensing gaming legislation industrial awards food safety program smoking OHS and trade practices.
- Daily travel is required tool of trade vehicle will be provided.
About you:
- Experience in leading multi-site hospitality operations or strong single site management looking for the next career step
- Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial fundamentals including leveraging guest data and insights
- Strong influencing stakeholder relationship and communication skills
- Eligible to meet State / Territory licensing requirements (includes a probity check)
