In this role you will:
- Execute regular pricing experience analysis and assist with the development of pricing assumptions for TALs Individual Life portfolio.
- Maintain develop and enhance pricing databases and experience analysis calculations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform investigations to provide actionable insights for new product development and existing product reviews.
- Support pricing decisions by sourcing and analysing key policy claims and underwriting data.
- Promote continuous improvement in data collection to improve monitoring and insight including management of reinsurance partnerships.
Qualifications :
- Tertiary qualifications in actuarial science or mathematics with progression towards Fellowship of the Actuaries Institute (or equivalent).
- Confidence and mastery of life insurance actuarial mathematics including strong understanding of experience analysis principles and theory.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a drive to enhance modelling efficiency and insights.
- A creative and curious thinker eager to take on new and unfamiliar challenges with confidence.
- Past exposure to actuarial work including experience analysis (preferred).
