We are seeking a HR Manager for a 14-month fixed term here at The Good Guys. This is a fantastic leadership opportunity within our HR team to support our retail business.
This role reports to the General Manager HR and is responsible for leading and developing a team of HR Business Partners and HR Advisors this role will:
- Ensure consistent sound and pragmatic advice and support is provided to leaders throughout the team member lifecycle
- Ensure effective investigations and issue resolution in keeping with legal frameworks appropriately assessing risk and managing escalations as required
- Embed and utilise consistent reporting frameworks to monitor and manage key HR performance metrics
- Build maintain and encourage collaborative working relationships which support the achievement of the company purpose
- Deliver targeted capability training for people leaders focused on strengthening leadership skills and supporting their ongoing development
- Support talent and succession management to enable growth and development of future leaders
Qualifications :
- At least 3 years in a generalist HR business partnering role to varying levels of leadership
- Tertiary qualifications in HR Business Management or similar
- Experience in managing employee relations matters
- Knowledge of employment frameworks such as the Fair Work Act Modern Awards and Workplace Health & Safety legislation in Australia
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior leadership
