Job Description
Position Summary:
TeamGOV is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee large-scale multi-site access control operations supporting federal and military clients. This individual will be responsible for managing program execution contract compliance personnel performance and client satisfaction across a portfolio of critical government security projects.
This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced professional who understands the complexity of federal programs physical security operations and the importance of delivering consistent high-quality services across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Requirements Senior Program Manager (Access Control) Education Bachelor s degree in: Business Administration Security Management Criminal Justice Engineering, IT, or a related field Master s degree (MBA, MPA, or related) preferred Experience 7 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in program or project management 5+ years managing federal government or DoD contracts Proven experience leading multi-site operations or security/access control programs Familiarity with government contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedule, IDIQ, 8(a)) Security Clearance Active Secret clearance required or the ability to obtain one Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI a plus depending on contract requirements Certifications (Preferred or Required) PMP (Project Management Professional) Preferred or required Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Desirable for physical security focus Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, or other operations/process improvement certs a plus DHS or DoD access control-specific training or credentials a plus Technical Skills Experience with: Access Control Systems (PACS, CAC, PIV, biometrics, turnstiles) Physical Security Standards (FISMA, NIST 800-53, HSPD-12, DoD 5200.08-R) Contract Management Software, SharePoint, or similar PM tools Microsoft Project, Excel, and reporting tools Soft Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage complex programs under tight deadlines and evolving priorities Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and process Other Requirements U.S. Citizenship (required for federal contract eligibility) Willingness to travel (up to 25 50%) to government or military installations Ability to work flexible hours depending on program needs
