POSITION PURPOSE
Under general supervision performs general maintenance and repair work in the areas of carpentry plumbing painting and mechanical.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive for this position.)
with and trains under other Engineers in the performance of daily job assignments including basic mechanical plumbing and electrical repair as directed.
in a safe manner power tools; welds materials.
basic electrical installation and repair work in wiring for switches outlets plugs cables power circuits and appliances; repairs lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions.
basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; opens clogged lines and drains; replaces washers and other minor parts; maintains and monitors plumbing systems.
and prepare various surfaces for paint enamel lacquer varnish or stain; repairs wall coverings.
basic rough and finished carpentry work in construction and repair of structures such as partitions walls doors fences window frames office furniture roofs and shelves.
and maintains mechanical devices motors and pumps.
workshop orderly by cleaning tool boxes putting away tools and parts and straightening electrical storage area.
and maintains all tile marble floor materials carpet and carpet tiles.
offices and parking areas routinely to ensure adequate lighting in all areas; replaces lights throughout property as needed.
preventative maintenance task including air conditioning units and filters lightening and electrical toilets and plumbing.
swimming pool and keeps log to document regular PH/chlorine testing.
other duties as assigned by management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite and be knowledgeable about building management systems.
Must be experienced in one or more of the following trades: plumbing carpentry electrical mechanical and/or HVAC
Must be able to bend lift push and pull equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 100 pounds.
Ability to be physically mobile and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
Excellent guest service and communication skills.
Must be able to work in areas containing dust secondhand smoke varying noise and temperature levels lighting vibrations crowds and air quality.
Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and 2 years related experience or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or an equivalent combination of training education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
