Job Description: MIS Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented MIS Executive with a strong foundation in data management analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will excel at transforming raw data into actionable insights to drive business decision-making and performance. You will work closely with various teams to ensure accurate timely and effective reporting and dash boarding using Excel and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI for business analysis and decision support.
  

• Write advanced SQL queries to extract aggregate and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
  

• Use Advanced Excel (pivot tables macros advanced formulas) for data organization exploration and reporting tasks.
  

• Develop and maintain robust data models to support analytical reporting ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  

• Create and manage complex DAX calculations in Power BI for customized analytics and interactive dashboards.
  

• Build and deploy custom visuals in Power BI enhancing business storytelling and data comprehension.
  

• Interpret data trends generate actionable insights and present findings clearly to stakeholders and management.
  

• Optional: Use Python for advanced data extraction transformation or statistical analysis as needed.
  

• Coordinate with business IT and management teams to translate business needs into data-driven technical solutions.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a MIS Executive or Data Analyst with hands-on experience in Excel Power BI and SQL.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage and report on large datasets.
  

• Proficiency in Power BI (DAX custom visuals) and Advanced Excel features.
  

• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and report creation.
  

• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Optional: Experience or knowledge in Python for automation and advanced analytics is a plus.
  

• Ability to work on-site at Sector 5 Salt Lake Martin House Kolkata as per office timings.
