Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Our client in the oil and gas industry is looking for a Reliability & Maintenance Specialist to join their team. You will be responsible for championing a strong safety and culture within the organization promoting adherence to the oil operating management system policies procedures and standards i.e. evaluate industry improvements develop and monitor appropriate maintenance preventative and corrective maintenance etc.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BSc in Mechanical or Electrical (80% Mechanical/20% Electrical)
- 10 years in maintenance management within the oil and gas or petrochemicals industry with a strong background in upstream midstream or downstream operation.
- In-depth knowledge of oil business operations maintenance practices safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proven experience in driving operational effectiveness and continuous improvements across multiple assets.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in operating and coaching maintenance efficiency and turnarounds.
- Excellent written and communication skills with proven experience of engaging and influencing a range of stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing long-term maintenance and service contacts would be advantageous.
- Experience in developing and executing audit and assurance plans and protocols is desirable.
