Produce Farmer

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a visionary regenerative farmer to join a luxury guest farm in the heart of Franschhoek someone who sees farming not only as a craft but as a way of life. This is a role for a cultivator of abundance a steward of soil and a storyteller through food where every harvest becomes part of the guest experience.

Here the land is not simply worked; it is cherished. The seasons guide the menus the soil is alive with possibility and guests wander through thriving gardens that tell the story of the region s richness.

In this role you will:

• Nurture the land using regenerative methods that restore soil health encourage biodiversity and build long-term resilience.
  

• Grow and supply an ever-changing palette of seasonal produce aligned with the creative vision of the kitchen.
  

• Work hand-in-hand with chefs to plan crops design rotations and bring to the plate what is freshest and most alive.
  

• Maintain productive gardens that are as beautiful as they are bountiful inviting guests to experience the magic of farm-to-table firsthand.
  

• Lead with both vision and practicality caring for plants systems tools and the people who help them grow.
  

This position calls for:

• Significant experience in regenerative or sustainable farming ideally within a hospitality or estate environment.
  

• A deep understanding of soil health crop planning and seasonal cycles.
  

• An ability to collaborate with creative teams while staying grounded in the day-to-day demands of farming.
  

• A passion for creating abundance that feeds not just the body but the senses.
