Job Description

AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help our customers design build operate and secure their cloud environments. Customers innovate with AWS Professional Services upskill with AWS Training and Certification optimize with AWS Support and Managed Services and meet objectives with AWS Security Assurance Services. Our expertise and emerging technologies include AWS Partners AWS Sovereign Cloud AWS International Product and the Generative AI Innovation Center. Youll join a diverse team of technical experts in dozens of countries who help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.

As a Technical Account Manager you will provide consultative architectural and operational guidance delivered to help customers achieve the greatest value from AWS.

As we continue to rapidly expand in Vietnam youll have plenty of opportunities to develop your technical consulting and leadership skills. Youll work with talented cloud technologists whilst expanding your knowledge of AWS products. Youll also have the chance to receive mentorship and gain AWS certifications.

Key job responsibilities

- Youll build solutions provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer
- Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity
- Develop trusting relationships with customers understanding their business needs and technical challenges
- Using your technical acumen and customer obsession youll drive technical discussions regarding incidents trade-offs and risk management

- Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives

- Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects Business Developers Professional Services Consultants and Sales Account Managers

- With a bias for action youll proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS

- Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions metrics detailed prelaunch planning

- Being part of a wider Enterprise Support team youll provide post-sales consultative expertise

- Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate their workloads to the cloud

- Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops brown bag sessions etc.

A day in the life
As a trusted advisor youll have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology. Youll craft and execute strategies to drive our customers adoption and use of AWS services. This includes a range of products including EC2 S3 DynamoDB & RDS databases Lambda CloudFront CDN IoT and many more.

Our Technical Account Managers partner with some of the most iconic businesses in ASEAN. These range from rising startups building their business from scratch through to large enterprises going through significant transformation. Youll provide advice on architecture support strategy project and launch planning as well as ongoing operational issues.

8 years of technical engineering experience

Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for two (2) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment

Bachelors degree or equivalent

Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings

Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
