Job Description
A community facility near Wichita KS is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their growing Behavioral Health team working with Pediatrics! Details are listed below.
Pay range: $30.00 - $40.00 / Hourly
Pediatric Behavioral Health RN Opportunity:
- Full-time direct hire placement
- Day Shift Schedule: 3(12) 7 AM - 7 PM
- Benefits Include: Health Dental Vision 401k PTO and more
- Setting: Behavioral Health/ Psychiatric
- Outpatient Day Shift position available
Pediatric Behavioral Health RN Responsibilities:
- Pediatric Behavioral Health RN assesses and monitors pediatric patients health status including vital signs and medical history
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences
- Pediatric Behavioral Health RN will provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options
- Effectively interact with patients families and health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing
- Pediatric Behavioral Health RN will teach patients and guardians how to de-stress and will offer crisis intervention and emergency assessments to those experiencing a mental health crisis
Pediatric Behavioral Health RN Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license required
- BLS Certification
- Experience in Psych Trauma Critical Care Emergency or overall mental health
- 2 years of Pediatric Behavioral Health experience required
