Position Overview:
Were seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Technical Services Division. This role combines electrical and technical expertise with customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Assessment & Troubleshooting:
Perform troubleshooting repair maintenance and installation of electrical systems
Conduct de-energized testing of electrical components (208V to 69KV)
Execute electrical equipment testing and analysis
Data Collection for Arc Flash and Coordination Studies
Infrared testing
Power quality analysis
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and lock-out/tag-out procedures
Documentation & Equipment Management:
Prepare detailed testing and maintenance reports with our proprietary reporting software
Document work progress and potential project impacts
Maintain calibration and readiness of testing equipment
Sales Support:
Assist in identifying key decision-makers within client organizations
Support pricing agreements and DES work
Provide technical expertise during sales calls
Customer Relations:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Communicate effectively regarding system concerns and additional service needs
Maintain professional job-site presence and cleanliness
Practice excellent communication regarding arrival and departure times
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of electrical testing experience
Strong understanding of electrical systems and testing procedures
Experience utilizing electrical test equipment such as; Infrared camera megger
dlro winding resistance meters turns ration meters
power quality meters secondary and primary injection meters.
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Safety-conscious mindset
Ability to work overtime
