Position Overview

Were seeking a driven and experienced Freight Sales Rep who knows the ins and outs of produce transportation and is passionate about helping shippers move fresh freight efficiently. This is a high-impact role focused on business development client retention and refrigerated freight solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and close new business within the produce and perishable freight sector
    Manage and grow a book of business focused on temperature-controlled domestic shipments
    Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure on-time and seamless execution
    Deliver consultative solutions tailored to each customers supply chain needs
    Monitor market trends pricing dynamics and competitive activity to stay ahead
    Consistently hit or exceed revenue and margin targets

What Were Looking For

MUST BE BASED IN RALEIGH AREA.

  • Proven experience in freight sales ideally with a focus on produce or refrigerated freight
    Existing industry relationships or a book of business is a major plus
    Self-motivated entrepreneurial spirit with a hunters mentality
    Strong communication and negotiation skills
    Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
